My work is inspired by the natural world, specifically the cycle of death and rebirth, predator and prey, generational patterns, and the passage of time.

I like to explore these concepts with a bit of whimsy and mysticism, where it can be had. I often use imagery of the critters, textures, fungi, and plants that I encounter wandering Northern California.

My background is in evolutionary biology, and I currently work full time in agriculture. I find myself thinking often about patterns of human activity on both natural and constructed systems.
